specialized in running multi-day rafting trips since 1976, Wilderness Aware has
run more overnight trips on the Arkansas than any other outfitter. This
experience gives us the competitive edge when it comes to organizing your
adventure.
This self-contained two-day trip offers the most continuous
whitewater available in Colorado. It is possible to get more rapids only by
driving between two single day trips. We prefer to float between two of the
Arkansas' best whitewater sections and experience the fun of self-contained
overnight camping by the river. Enjoy views of 14,000' peaks, sheer canyon
walls, and crystal clear star filled skies. Two-day trips include mileage
covered by both the Narrows 1/2
day and Browns Canyon
full-day trips.
3-day and
5-day trips continue on
past the 2-day ending point and offer you the opportunity to really leave the
world behind. If part of your group would like to join you on your 2-day trip
and continue down the river, we can easily arrange that option.
